Position Description
Position Overview:
The Merchandiser Trainee for our Venere.com brand will help planning, executing and managing merchandising promotions for all points of sale.
This position reports directly to the Sr. Manager of Merchandising.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate the development of the promotional calendar as well as short and long term planning of promotions in conjunction with venere.com Merchandiser
Transform customer insights into inspiring merchandising messages and initiatives
Effectively manage the portfolio of merchandising positions and pages to ensure that promotions meet customer needs and expectations.
Benchmark merchandising activities and capabilities vs. competitors
Evaluate market opportunities and identify trends for effective decision making
Load deals and produce landing pages through a content management tool
Create campaign briefs to provide support to market managers
Monitor and report campaign performance and react accordingly
Support specific CRM campaigns where required
Qualifications:
Degree in Economics/Marketing/Ecommerce or related fields
MS Excel and Powerpoint proficiency required
Basic Knowledge of html will be an advantage
Travel industry experience a plus
